Toumani Diabaté’s Symmetric Orchestra BBC Radio 3 Award Nominees

Nominees for the BBC Radio 3 Awards for World Music have been announced, and Toumani Diabaté’s Symmetric Orchestra is among them, for the second year in a row. The winning artists will be revealed on April 17, 2008, at a ceremony in London, airing on Radio 3 the next day; a concert featuring the Award winners will take place that summer.

And following the success of a recent tour through Europe and North America, the Symmetric Orchestra will make its way to Australia and New Zealand next year.
