"Sweeney Todd" DVDs to Be Released April 1

The Tim Burton-directed film version of Stephen Sondheim's Sweeney Todd, starring Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter, will be available on DVD beginning April 1, in both a two-disc special edition and a single-disc DVD.

Playbill reports that the two-disc version will include an in-depth look at the Sondheim musical, behind-the-scenes footage of the making of the film, and the history of the legend of the Demon Barber of Fleet Street, among a number of additional special features.
